Consultancy services
Telematics, video telematics and IoT consultancy services
Fifteen proven workstreams spanning strategy, product, commercial, delivery and governance — plus specialist technical consultancy in hardware sourcing, IoT connectivity and mapping. Delivered by people who have built, scaled and sold in this market.
Who we help
Vendor-side expertise, operator-side insight
Most of our clients are technology businesses: video telematics and telematics providers, GPS and BLE asset-tracking companies, vehicle safety manufacturers, OEMs and their tier suppliers, and the investors backing them. Because our leadership has run one of Europe's fastest-growing video telematics providers, we know how these businesses make money — and where they leak it.
We also work on the buying side, helping fleets, leasing companies, dealer groups and public bodies specify, procure and get measurable value from connected safety technology.
Typical outcomes

- Pricing, contracts and SLAs that protect recurring revenue

How we work
Three engagement models, scoped around outcomes
Advisory day
Focused expert input
A single day — on site or remote — to review a product, pricing model, supplier shortlist, tender or investor deck and give you a clear, written recommendation.
Defined project
Fixed scope, fixed deliverables
A statement of work with agreed outputs: a hardware RFP and supplier evaluation, a connectivity strategy, a roadmap and investment case, or a complete framework bid.
Retained engagement
Fractional leadership across workstreams
Ongoing, board-level involvement across several workstreams — product, commercial, supplier, delivery and governance — with regular leadership and board reporting.
Questions we're often asked
Consultancy services FAQ
Who are your consultancy services designed for?
Primarily technology businesses on the vendor side of the connected-fleet market: video telematics and telematics providers, asset-tracking and IoT companies, vehicle safety manufacturers, OEMs and their tier suppliers, plus investors assessing them. We also advise fleet operators, leasing companies and automotive groups that are buying or reselling this technology.
How is an engagement structured?
Every engagement starts with a free discovery call. We then agree the outcome, the scope and the model — an advisory day, a defined project with fixed deliverables, or a retained fractional-leadership arrangement across several workstreams. Scope, deliverables and fees are agreed in writing before work starts.
Can you take on several workstreams at once?
Yes. Our largest engagements cover fifteen parallel workstreams for a single client — from product strategy and roadmap through commercial models, supplier due diligence, programme governance and board reporting. See our case studies for an example.
Do you work outside the UK?
Yes. We work with clients across the UK, Europe, North America and the Middle East, and we source hardware and connectivity from the EU, the United States, China and the wider Far East depending on the specification and the customer's requirements.
Are you tied to any hardware, connectivity or software vendors?
No. We are independent. Recommendations are based on your specification, target markets, certification needs and total cost of ownership — never on reseller commissions.
