Bid, tender & framework support
Bid, tender and framework response support for fleet and safety technology suppliers
Requirement analysis, solution alignment, response development and pricing for public-sector frameworks, further competitions and enterprise RFPs — written by people who have sat on both sides of the table.
Why tenders are lost
Most telematics bids fail on the requirement matrix, not the product
Evaluators score what you evidence, not what you sell. Responses that paraphrase the brochure, miss a mandatory certification, price by unit rather than whole-life cost, or leave data-protection and installation questions vague lose to weaker products with sharper submissions.
We have written, reviewed and evaluated tenders for vehicle telematics, video telematics, asset tracking and vehicle safety systems across public-sector frameworks, local authorities, blue-light services, utilities and enterprise fleets. We know what the scoring panel is looking for and how to present your capability against it.
What we deliver
- Go/no-go assessment and bid strategy
- Deconstruction of technical and commercial requirements into a scored matrix
- Alignment of requirements to your product, hardware and service capabilities — with a gap plan
- Response development, evidence library and case-study material
- Pricing models built for whole-life-cost evaluation
- Compliance, certification, security and data-protection evidence
- Red-team review, clarification handling and post-submission support
Where we help
Frameworks, further competitions and enterprise RFPs
Public-sector frameworks
Framework applications and further competitions, including the Crown Commercial Service Vehicle Telematics Solutions framework (RM6315) and its successors.
Local authority and blue-light tenders
Councils, NHS trusts, police, fire and ambulance services procuring telematics, cameras and driver-safety systems for mixed fleets.
Enterprise fleet RFPs
Logistics, construction, utilities, waste and facilities fleets running structured RFPs for connected safety and compliance technology.
OEM and tier-supplier RFQs
Line-fit and aftermarket programmes where a vehicle or equipment manufacturer is sourcing cameras, telematics or safety systems.
Leasing, rental and insurer partnerships
Tenders and partnership proposals where telematics and video evidence underpin risk, claims and residual-value propositions.
European and international procurements
Public and private tenders across Europe and the Middle East, with the certification and localisation evidence they demand.
How we run a bid
A repeatable process that raises scores and protects margin
Go/no-go and bid strategy
An honest assessment of win probability, incumbent position, evaluation weightings and the themes the buyer cares about — before resources are committed.
Requirement deconstruction
Every technical, commercial, security and social-value requirement is captured in a matrix, weighted, and assigned an owner and an evidence source.
Solution alignment and gap plan
Your hardware, platform, installation network and support model are mapped to the requirements. Gaps are closed with partners, roadmap commitments or a clear position.
Response development
Answers written to the scoring criteria, using an evidence library of certifications, case studies, SLAs, policies and references that we help you build once and reuse.
Pricing and whole-life cost
Hardware, installation, airtime, software, support, training and exit costs modelled the way the evaluator will compare them.
Review, submission and clarifications
Red-team review against the criteria, compliance checks, submission management and structured handling of clarification questions and presentations.
What evaluators look for
The evidence that moves scores
Beyond the product itself, panels consistently reward suppliers who can evidence compliance, delivery capability and low implementation risk. We help you assemble and present this once, then reuse it across bids.
- Device certification: CE/UKCA, E-mark, cellular and camera-system approvals
- Data protection, information security and video-evidence handling policies
- Installation coverage, accreditation and warranty-friendly fitting methods
- Service levels, support desk, RMA and device-management processes
- DVS, PSS, FORS and duty-of-care alignment for safety programmes
- Social value, sustainability and accessibility commitments
- Implementation plans, transition-in and exit arrangements
- Financial standing, insurances and reference customers
Questions we're often asked
Tender and bid support FAQ
Which frameworks and tenders can you support?
UK public-sector frameworks and further competitions — including the Crown Commercial Service Vehicle Telematics Solutions framework (RM6315) and local-authority, NHS, police, fire and utility procurements — as well as enterprise fleet RFPs, OEM and tier-supplier RFQs, leasing and insurer partnership tenders, and European public procurements.
Do you write the response or review it?
Either. Some clients want us to lead the full response — bid strategy, requirement matrix, writing, pricing and submission. Others have a bid team and want a specialist to deconstruct the technical and commercial requirements, align them to the product, close the gaps and challenge the draft before it goes in.
Can you help with pricing and total cost of ownership?
Yes. Public-sector evaluations increasingly score whole-life cost — hardware, installation, airtime, software, support, training and de-installation — against quality criteria. We build pricing models that win on TCO without giving away margin, and we sanity-check them against how competitors typically price.
We are a hardware manufacturer, not a service provider. Can you still help?
Yes. We help manufacturers and OEM suppliers respond to tenders directly, and position their products within the responses of channel partners and integrators so that the specification is written around their strengths.
How early should we involve you?
Ideally at go/no-go — before the response is drafted. The highest-value work is deciding whether to bid, shaping the solution and building the evidence library. That said, a two-day review of a near-final submission still catches the errors that cost points.
